Question Need help, Title questions...

my dad is planning on buying a car in GA, it has a GA salvage title currently.

it is an 86'

he wants to bring it back to FL, is there any way to get it tagged here and get a clean title for it? i'm not familiar with anything like this....

any help would be greatly appreciated

isn't it still possible to drive a car on the road here with a salvage title?

Sorry if I'm judging, but your post makes me think you want to clean the car up and resell it here with a clean title.

not everybody in life is that shady, man. you should be sorry that your are judging, its kinda sad that your first thought would be that i'm trying to screw somebody over, when all my intentions were was to find an answer for my pops. i dont know if you can drive it here with a salvage title. thats why i had asked the question to begin with. ive only lived here for 5 months, i moved down from atlanta, and the only car that i drive is still registered in GA, so i know nothing about laws/regulations here. its awesome that you dont have to pass emmissions here, in the county that i moved here from you do. but insurance here is way more expensive.

i doubt he would sell it when he is finished fixing it anyway, he likes collecting older rare cars. its a 1986 porsche 951 (the 944 w/stock turbo), and nobody in my family would try to screw anyone, anyways. its called respect, plus its just bad karma...
