And I got upset because the guy who was changing the oil in my car unnecessarily revved it up. I hate techs and other shop people doing anything with my car that is not necessary. If you would like to joyride or do something unecessary you should ask permission or just go buy your own.

Read son! he offered the settlement from his insurance, which would buy a new vette, then we would transfer all the transferable mods onto the new car, and replace the ones too damaged to transfer.

same thing just happened with a mustang owner didnt want to do anything but tell the customer to put it on his insurance.

 

Mod it yourself or find a different hobby. If I had a 40,000 dollar car it wouldn't go within half a mile of a performance shop. By their very nature most are involved in something shady at one point or another. Low-wage high-turnover workers bouncing around between shops constantly, owners who always seem to vacillate between nicest-guy-in-the-world and recently-escaped-mental-patient.

the cheapest one I found was a used 07 for 41k

 

ohz noez. Its still a C6, similar miles, hopefully same color, you could use the extra 3 grand for more goodies. I'd do it.
