Let me put it this way, a car wont cheat on you, lie to you, sleep with your best friend, try to change you, get jealous when you DO hang out with your girlfriend, take advantage of you, or anything like that. The car is completely faithful to you. It only asks for gas, oil, and routine maintenance. That is what i call devotion.

My BF and I met at an autox. We enjoy chillin with our cars and with each other. It is fun to co drive with him at rally events as well.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

The truth is....if your car is more important than your girl, than you NEED to find a new girl. 1) She isn't important enough to you to be with her still, so why waste your time and hers, 2) you could be out banging hot chicks instead of wasting your time with someone that you don't care about that much.

the car is not goin to cheat on you and let someone else drive her while your not watchin ... unles it gets stole then thats rape ... but if i get a good girl one that perfect then i can choose her over the car but right now its the car .. but then again i need my chicks ta bang .. so not its kinda close ... but i still say car

This is how I look at it pretty much.
I think it helps that I drive excellent cars that nobody else cares about. I once left the hot pocket in a Super Target parking lot in Orlando with the lights on and keys in the ignition by accident for about a half hour. Nothing happened.
Now when I get a nice car, I obviously will take all sorts of precautionary measures for it.
