I'd follow those directions except for the trash bag thing. When I saw it in the first pic I figured it was to throw away the old film. Soak it down good with ammonia, and try not to inhale too much.

I used a heat gun and a razor and just scrapped it off all at once. A bit messy and time consuming, but it gets the job done.

Work pretty good for ya? How long did it take, did you have to actually chip anything off with a razor? Also did you do all your windows this way or just the back one?

You may as well kiss that window defroster goodbye esp. if there is more than one layer of tint. None of the easy fixes work 100%. bye a good window scraper with refillable razor blades and have at it!. My wifes 200sx had 3 mother fffing layers of tint on the rear and it took me 2 hours and some knuckle skin to get it off.

I love the amonia & garbage bag technique. Did it today and got my windows done no problem. Very easy, no adhesive left behind and my defrost still works! Just let it settle on there for about an hour then pull it off. Not hard at all!
