I need the car to be a manual so its still somewhat fun to drive so that rules out the srt-8 cars.

I don't really like the styling of the 4 door bmws, i do like the 2 doors but i am not paying close to 50k for one.

The high end of my budget is 40-43k so s4 is out.

And yeah I am looking for a new fun car with a warranty. If i get the vette it will get an exhaust and intake and some wheels, the others will probably just get wheels and maybe lowered but nothing that will tamper with the warranty.

a new vette with over 400 hp and a warranty for 43k, cant beat that! Of course if you are spending that kinda dough, you might as well get a few nice options on it. You can still keep it under 50k!

Unfortunately, all these threads usually end up the same. Nearly everyone will just recommend the brands they are loyal to without any actual first hand experience and eventually someone will try to sell you their 94 integra and tell you to use the extra $35k to make it run 9s. The best thing you can do is to get on some of the websites without biased reviews, write down a few that interest you and go test drive them all.

the only option i want is the z51 which i would def get, it includes better geared 6 speed manual, oil cooler, power steering cooler, some other coolers, bigger brakes, stiffer leave springs and shocks and i think some other misc stuff. The car already comes with leather, keyless go, onstar, xm radio, aux input for mp3 player, most are dynoing in at 380-390rwhp. I dont need a Heads up display, heated seats, or a lot of the other crap. So if i got a C6 id would just have a z51 package and probably an optional color as silver, red, black, and white are the only standard colors.

XM is standard now?

I didnt think I needed heeated seats either, now I love them! They add a good amount of weight tho.

I looked hard at a vette for a while, but needed a back seat so I went with an M3. IVe seen a few 06 Z06's in the mid 50's.

Yeah but the 335 isnt a sports car. It has that disconnected luxury car feeling.
