I dont like the huge flat black section of the new GTR. The rest of the car looks fine i guess it looks like a G35 copy but they also did the same flat black crap to the front of the EVO X and it looks like ass.

EVO 7, 8, 9 > EVO X
AP2 > CR
R34 GTR > 08 skyrine/G35R

I guess i'm becoming a fan of a sort of an "old skool" line up! lol

I also think they messed up the back of the Nissmo 350z. The rear bumper looks like a bent up piece of metal that goes up and down up and down all bent out of shape!

The CR front lip looks like a shovel! The rest of the car looks fine and I dont mind the wing but my only problem is its WAAAAYYY over priced!

i'd rather have this with a turbo 1.3 Busa engine than the CR

OK stop stop stop. What the hell is with anyone saying this car is overpriced?

A stock S2000 MSRP's at $34,300.
A stock S2000 CR MSRP's at $37,300.
A $3,000 difference for the CR upgrade. Regardless of the laundry list of suspension/aero/chassis upgrades, it comes with the OEM Removable Hardtop. As an accessory to the stock S2000, the hardtop costs $3,499.

So the CR with hardtop costs less than a base S2k with hardtop. So it is up to the buyer to choose whether he prefers more creature comforts or better track times.
Also, although the wing and lip ARE ugly in my opinion, they are wind tunnel tested to reduce lift and drag. The CR does get better lap times by a large margin, and I will leave it up to everone else to argue like women over the looks of the thing. Welcome to TR.

ROFL good point. I don't want a track car though. I like mine because it's fun to drive.

Not very exciting.

If they actually wanted to improve it they'd give it a hard top.

Incorrect - more like 99% as a matter of fact (not joking). I would bet it is more like 99.9% - as in maybe 1 out of 1000 S2000's will ever see a road course, if that.

People are afraid of real race tracks
