First Honda S2000-CR in Florida here in Pinellas **pics**
well heres the problem, the S2000 has had the same body style since its inception and need a complete makeover if it wants to sell! Its way behind everything else right now,Honda is turning into Toyota with Sports cars,wouldnt be surprised if they dont bring it back and have no RWD cars.
How is the S2000 way behind everything else?
Well it isnt a "track car" so to speak...its a track inspired street car. I bet 75% of the people who buy it wont let it see a track...IMO they should've taken some pointers from lotus

7k more for what, stiffer suspension, a god awful wing and front bumper... tires too? Wow.
And they call it a club racer, yet it still has elements that don't make it a racer per say, such as a/c, leather interior, stereo, etc. They should have ditched all that stuff and made the price the same or even less than base. Thats a REAL club racer

A/C and stereo have to be optioned in IIRC. Cloth Interior too, no leather. Its still ugly and those same 5 spoke wheels are on the '08's as well, they're just silver instead of that "gunmetal" color.

IMO, if you take stuff off.. you should charge less money!
I dont know what honda was thinking but atleast after a few years all of them will be sitting collecting dust and I will be able to trade my AP2 in for one dirt cheap!

There isn't anything on that car that will make it perform that much better at the track. Take that few thousand and do some real upgrades to your s2000 to make it faster at the track. That shit is ugly...they did it just to sell to the F&F generation that is getting old enough to afford it.
