Default Getting dual exhaust on my crown victoria soon

Going with flowmaster 40 series.. Hopefully they'll sound pretty nice and i won't get pulled over by the police since I read the thread on here about how your exhaust can't be any louder then stock....

ANY modification to an exhaust is illegal. Why not go with magnaflow mufflers?? they are straight through, I always though flowmasters delta flow crap was a gimmick.

Idk I heard from other people that flowmasters sound better then magnaflow. and anything is better then my stock single exhaust i'm getting the whole job done with chrome tips for 450 dollars which is pretty cheap i think , considering rainbow muffler a while ago told me like 750 or something for the dual exhaust flowmasters .

SOOO.. Do you think i'm going to get pulled over when i get the exhaust?? i hope not...

I doubt you'll get pulled. It will just give your car a nice little growl but nothing obnoxious enless you choose to make it that way...But in actuallity all you have to do is look at all the Marudar(sp) owners out their who sound pretty sick from the factory.

yeah marauders sound nice as hell they have a different pitch to them. the guy that owns this custom shop im getting my exhaust done at owns a g rand marquis and has flowmaster 40 series on his, and it's pretty loud and sounds like a truck which i like that and it's not INSANELY loud, but it seemed like more then just a little growl ,a little more kick then that. I'm excited about them though , want them on asap but probably not going to have them till next week or maybe later DAMn..

My crown victoria is white, and a civilian model, but an all black one would be badass I would have to go with marauder tips if it was black.. But i did order a police grille and I took the stock chrome one off and snapped the cop one on, along with an american flag front plate with the d.a.r.e. frame around it, and a "pursuit vehicle" plate frame around my rear liscence plate which i still have the shit laying around with no use... i put the stock grille back on and put some chrome wheels on it now... but i miss when it looked like a cop car , you get a lot of respect driving a "cop car lookalike" on the road , A HELL OF A LOT OF RESPECT!

I want a black marauder as my next car but im not sure anymore, i'm almost leaning towards a small sporty car that is good on gas , small cars r a lot more zippy and funner to drive 2 me and save u money in the wallet im always putting gas in my crown vic, but it's all good, i used to hate small cars and loved to drive my vic when i first got it , it's jsut gettin old but im thankful to have something clean... My car is holding up well so im going to stick 2 my crown victoria till it starts to wear out which hopefully isn't a while since it just broke 60 thousand miles about a month ago..

You will not get pulled over for it. I have had all kinds of different exhausts on my old cop car, including no exhaust for a while and never had a problem. And you dont have to worry about mileage for a LONG time, i put well over 60k in a matter of months on top of the already 140k without a problem. They are made to be driven and reliable.
