so the filter falling off could cause this? ill check that thanks and no the window motors dont make any noise and the fuze is fine. how would i check that?

Easy way to test power windows is to jump the window motor straight to the battery. If the window goes up, then the problem is with the switches.


How much fluid did you put back in the tranny when you changed it last? Was it running while you were filling it as well? Did you put a hole in the tranny pan when you hit the pothole?

ok ill try the window and there is no hole in the pan and so leak but i did change the fluid 2 days befor it hit it and i put 7 qaurts in while not running. i had no probs till i het that hole

You are supposed to fill the tranny while the car is running. That way you can actually tell how much fluid is pumping thru the tranny. Do you check the tranny dipstick while the car is not running either? Fill the car up while its running, thats your problem.

i *filled it while not running and then turned the car on and let it worm up and checked it while running. it was fine and i hade no problems untill as soon as i hit that hole

A long shot?........Check for loose electrical connections/Jumper it as he said.
Maybe pop the door panels off/visually check plug-ins.

Check fuses, spin them in their housings or plug in-unplug 'em to clean off corrosion, if any.-Bob
