yeah, so i'm driving the progressive irv (immediate response vehicle) on my way to do an estimate on a vehicle and i'm sitting at a redlight when i get rearended
and yes, the person that rearended me has progressive
i don't understand, people always hit these things! so now its going back into the shop! and its not just this one either that keeps getting hit, there's always at least 1 irv out at a time getting repaired! why do these things keep getting hit!?

I got into an accident saturday night........I don't even want to go into insurance companies.......im dealing with 3 calling me all the time.

 

Sorry about your luck bro,I got rear ended then slammed into the van in front of me Sat.Back is fucked up,car has major damage front,rear and uni-body.I have Progressive but filed the claim with Allstate so I could get my car fixed at a shop of my choice,now I feel like I'm getting raped!!!! 07 Ford Focus,5056 miles,not a scratch on it.$6,500 in damage and possibly more(depending on what is found)and the damn car is only worth 12-13k.

glad you're ok April, at least you likely don't have to worry about the insurance company jerking you around to cover your expenses

 

thanks john. yeah, thats the good part! when the police got there they asked for my insurance info, i'm like seriously? look at what i'm driving! we're progressive, we're self insured!

You did write the estimate on the other car, right? And you used all new OEM parts per their request? And the IRV got LKQ and aftermarket parts like everyone else?

 

yeah, of course, i'm handling the entire claim myself! only i took the irv back to the dealer and had them put a new oem bumper on it and the other vehicle, well, its not getting fixed bc thats what they get for running into their own insurance company!
seriously though, its all handled thru corporate since its a fleet loss, i cant even drop it off for repairs, theyd dont want me touching it. and i dont think the other person has coll, it was a pos.
