I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

Glad to hear you're okay. I bet the other person is like "Oh fuck! I just rear-ended my own insurance company's car! I'm gonna get dropped!"

yeah, she was pretty embarrassed! she didn't even tell me she has progressive, the cop handed me the piece of paper with her info on it and was like..."here's her name, address and ph# and yeah, she has progressive, thats her policy#" as he chuckled.

why do people keep hitting the irvs dammit! do people hit cop cars this much?

yeah, that wouldve really sucked if it was the teg, i wouldve cried for sure.

Nope. I'm an independent appraiser. I worked at a few shops in the area and dealt with the Progressive adjusters at the shops. I've been doing insurance related claims for over 20 years, and just a year or so at a shop.

Just having a little insider fun .

Do they have shop reps anymore? I thought they were trying to funnel everything through the concierge program...

I like what I do. Every car is different, you meet all kinds of people, and I like seeing different parts of the metro area. I do work for two different collector car insurers, so I even get the old stuff. I looked at a '61 Jag XKE last week. Minor damage, but a beautiful car.
