Im thinking of putting 16% tints on my car... do you think it's likely that i get pulled over ? anyone have any problems?

 

I have 5% on my windows and have been sitting next to cops at stop lights all the time. Never got pulled over once.

 

its florida man get it as dark as u want.

 

ive had limo on 2 of my cars and never had a problem but i have a friend that got pulled 2 times in 1 mile and the second time the cop gave him a razor to peel it off right there on the side of the road

 

while some of you haven't been pulled over with darker than legal tint...

you're basically giving a police officer a reason to pull you over...so keep that in mind.

 

what exactly is "legal tint"
I've never seen a standard, this is as dark as you can get

 

Limo tint is 5%?

 

i thought the legal is 15%, limo is 10%, and the darkest you could get was 5%..

 

i think 25% is legal

 

Depends on what window you are talking about. I believe the law only applies to the front windshield and front driver and passengar windows. Check out newer cars on the road sometime. The rear windows are always darker from the factory while the front are real light.
