I've had 5% on many cars, so has my sister and we never got pulled over. I've got the stock tint on my car now, i don't know what % it is but its def. not 5% and I got pulled over for it. I was in the middle of nowhere though I think the cop was just bored.

 

Just get ~15%. Backing up at night with 5% sucks, unless you stick your head out the window.

 

I got used to it... I have to roll down my windows to use the side mirrors to back up, but its not bad

Feels good knowing I can pick my boogers without making someone's day for catching me.

5% on my sides 2% on the rears of the truck... but it doesnt seem like it because its flat plate glass ... i am seriously considering tinting the windshield at a 50% right now and putting about a 6-8" sun strip of 5% up top.

never had a problem . even the multiple times ive been pulled over in any of my "limo" tinted cars , its never been mentioned by the officers

 

^50% is pretty nice, ive had it, and at night cuts out glare from the assholes with high beams

and damn, ur truck must be dark inside!

 

well i just had to remove the tint on my girls car and 3 days after that it got broken into.. the car had never been touched for the 4 years we had it tinted
