Default Need some overheating help...

Tried posting on rx7club and didnt get much help so i figured i would come here. Well i just had a new koyo n flow radiator installed, and got the car back a week or so ago. The first 25 minutes or so the car runs perfect, then my water temps go up to around 100-109celcius the idle drops to like 600 and it almost stalls (stalled a few times). Also my coolant light comes on everytime i go to drive it, i continuously have to top it off and i see no coolant anywhere. Let me know what you guys think... - Eric

Yeah, if your losing coolant and its not leaking onto the ground, then its leaking into the combustion chamber, have a friend look at your exhaust, if when your rev and idle shes spitting out any white smoke, then theres your problem. outside that i can't tell you much, I know jack shit about rotards.

The seals bust like a 14 year old boy with his teacher in the backseat of her car. Thats all you need to know about them.

Could be a bolt than, Trust me I did a rebuild once using the same bolts from before, not thinking that old bolts tend to not hold as good as new one, cuz of heat and all that jazz. Well long story short I was leaking coolent into the back housing.

Happened to my firechicken with a bolt. snapped a head bolt right in half, I was leaking coolant into the combustion chamber. Not even any milkshake in the oil. Barely any smoke. What a pain that one was.

Yeah, and its a rotary. Get used to it blowing up.

If the water isn't going anywhere its getting passed through the combustion chamber. Do those things have headgaskets - I'd assume so? I have no idea what the top end of them is like.
