Simple Green works great for cleaning engine bays. Just make sure you cover your air intake, and the distributor with a plastic bag. I wouldn't really worry about covering up every single wire in the engine bay. Just try not to put your hose on extremely high pressure when rinsing it off afterwards.

and damn your car is clean kaluwa
ok when i cleaned my motor i used Greased lightning and a toothbrush and made my motor look new got pic of before and after using greased lightning, just make sure u scrub it good and get all the oil off and make sure that u cover any electrical items that will not get destroyed.

They sell this stuff at autozone called gunk. Its pretty much Brakleen, but for your engine. You spray it on, then rinse it off. Ive seen it done on an H22 without covering anything with plastic. That shit is the shit.
yep its true ive used it, its good u can also get it at advanced auto parts
