I think you can get the GTI in 4 doors too, we saw one at a dealer a couple weeks ago.

That's true also.Its just the way the engine is designed and where the heads are located that makes it a chore.
So basically the only downsides to an wrx are:
1)Hard spark plug changes.
2)Weak glass trannys.

for unmodded DD, GTI all the way. fit and finish is way above its price tag
