Man that's EXACTLY what the hell i was about to say.......rep points. Honda really needs to step their game the fuck up. It's stupid to be selling this for so much and no RWD or even AWD. I mean shit even if it had the system that the ford fusion comes equipped with where the rear wheels kick in when the front wheels lost traction that would've been cool......But an engine with 30 extra horses, some mugen seats, and a body kit isn't worth me spending 40k on a fwd car.
I'd rather buy one of these

At least with this i get a turbocharged I4 w/ 274 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 280 pound-feet of torque at 3,000 rpm. On top of all that is has AWD. Also the fact that it's 10k LESS sort of makes a difference too

translation this civic = FAIL

Also not to mention you can probably even get one of these with light mods still for much cheaper than that overpriced machine

just like everyone said, looks sick, to bad its a 4 door though...besides that, the price tag is ridiculous.....but if Brownsound is right....its one hell of a track car...mugen=JDM=tons of $$$$

Understood, and that is some pretty impressive numbers. I'd still take a supra on a fresh 2jzgte fully built with one of these T88 trim turbo...

that will eat the civic for breakfast am sure....although i'm sure the vtec might give it indegestion......

If i wanna go cheaper buy a 12,000 dollar lexus IS300 and spend 7k on engine mods 3 - 4k on a spanking new or low mileage 2jz also with turbo upgrade and engine performance built from the ground up..... also wieght on the IS is only 3269 lbs.

ok it's cool and all, and seems damn quick around a track. but it is damn expensive. and why would you want a t88 mk4 supra for a circuit car. besides the fact it's a pig, the t88 would take forever to spool and smaller slower cars would pass you. do you even know what trim means? thats my 2 cents.

 

perhaps so, but this is only one source. Id rather see multiple examples. I still would not buy a FWD car for 40k, I simply do not enjoy the driving dynamics anymore. I'd rather spend a shit ton less on a Evo/STi, put half the difference in price in mods and smoke it.

I mean it's all semantics anyway, b/c its mad tite jdm boi and limited production at that. Translation: none of us will ever go beyond debating its worth on a msg forum.
