Default Injectors.

They only require a power source and a ground to function, correct?
Then they should spray fuel or whatever fluid a certain cfm @ w.e pressure is supplied to them?

well injectors pulse, so if you were to hook up power to it and then ground it the injector would have a constant spray and not pulse like its meant to.

so if you want to be able to spray the injector when you want. say your making a flame thrower, I would drill a hole in the top of the pipe that you are using big enough for the jet to fit in and then connect it to power using a 9v battery pack that you can mount on the pipe somewhere, then when you run your ground put a single pole single throw switch in there so you can control your ground with a switch. so when the switch is turned on it will complete the circut and you can pump fuel through the injector.

Actually I wasn't thinking of a flame-thrower, but maybe I could make one and throw it on the cougar

but to answer your question, yes all they need is power and ground to spray fuel, but they use a controlled ground so its not on at all times.
