i agree....my S2k had a really great feel to it STOCK...nice shortthrow, gears were close and throws were stiff...not ur usual sloppy honda deal...i had kids gettin in my car all the time sayin how nice it was...but yea....
i would much rather have the Evo X be 6spd than anything else...but we'll see...

I think now that they offer the stick and auto option they will get more consumers, I doubt we are talking about the tiptronic auto tranny here where after you press to shift it literally takes 1-2 seconds to shift after, I bet its like the bmw, vw, porsche, etc type where it shifts right as you press it...
it looks like the galant IMO...the way the headlights are shaped and the line of the body..

I think that a 6-speed double clutch transmission is pretty awesome to be throwing in a pretty low end car. For those are aren't familiar with double clutch transmissions, instead of disengaging the clutch in one gear and then engaging the clutch in the next gear, one clutch releases on the first gear while another clutch is engaging the next gear. It's also called seamless shifting. Most F1 (if not all, now) use double clutch transmissions. the ME Twelve uses a double clutch transmission and gets 200ms shift times with a semi-automatic shifter. Plus, you can't have a double clutch in a manual. If Mitsubishi does it right, the semi-automatic double clutch transmission will be much better and more fun than a manual.

the s2k shifter is very good but I definitely wouldn't go as far to suggest "perfect". But i see what you're saying.

I think it looks pretty good, Im guessing they will offer the 6spd later on, or they decided not to list that as an option on the press release.

its not bad, i love having a 2 seater, but its sometimes a pain getting in and out of it. on long trips it kinda hurts my back but thats possibly cause my wallet is there.. all in all, its a fun car!

Convertible, 2-Seater, 50/50 Weight Distribution, 4-Wheel Double Wishbone Suspension, 9k redline, RWD, and one of the best communities I have ever been a part of.
But this is off topic, I think the new Lancer Evo is gonna be a hit!
