They make lock bolts for the S2000 seats, that you need a special tool to install them with...

I've thought of that. Even if they didn't get the seats, you'd still need to deal with a slashed top.

i thought of just getting 2 or 3 different bolt heads (hex, star, alan..) and screwing them in there.

what would you rather do, drive an s2k with the slashed top down (nobody would know)

or pimp it with the roof up sittin on a milk crate?

either way, if they want it, they'll get it

alarms just make a bunch of noise thats only good if the car is in front of your house or apt window

BMW has a motion sensor on the rear view mirror and it goes off if anyone moves inside the car when it's active. Maybe you could look into something like that.

I drive a Miata, and I leave the top down everywhere I go. I don't ever leave anything in the car, there's nothing valuable to steal, so it just sits. I leave the glove compartment unlocked, the center console unlocked.

Everyone asks me, "why do you leave the top down everywhere? Aren't you afraid of getting something stolen?" I just tell them I'd rather have them take the $5 of change in the cup holder rather than slash a top that I'd have to pay $400 to replace... And sometimes they don't bother to check the door handles before they slash the top... retards.

If I couldn't see someone moving around in my s2000, I would probably give him my seats as a reward for being so god damn sneaky.
