Construction workers, garbage men too, they have been doing this for a while now, mainly on roads with a slower limit, deltona, spr hill drive, mariner, northcliffe. Not usually on 50 or 19.

 

Crazy, never heard of anything like that...

 

Yeah true, they have to be creative, because apparently they have nothing else to do...

 

So who are they missing from the YMCA now...? They have the cop & the construction worker hahahahah

 

Who knows who would be next? maybe they can be like the Bum lady who used to sit on mariner.. and have a radar under that stank ass blanket.

"Hernando County Sheriff's sergeant Matt Lillibridge is counting on drivers overlooking him.

He and his deputies are using a deception widely used in bigger cities and disguising themselves as road surveyors to bust speeders.

Deputies said speed traps work every time and get people to think twice before they hit the gas.

"They come and they tell us, 'man, I saw those guys back there and I realized those were cops and you guys had me.' So it's a good surprise," deputy Keith Brown said.

When the sheriff's office sets up an undercover operation they can easily bust 70 speeders in one day.

A speed trap said drivers can coalong Spring Hill Drive was set up Thursday morning, but Lillibridgeunt on more trickery in other places at any time.

"You never know where we might be, so watch out," Lillibridge said.

But the dangers of speeding are no laughing matter. Lillibridge said too many accidents are happening county-wide because people are in a rush.

He said one of the most common complaints the sheriff's office gets is about speeders. He also said they'll do whatever they can within their power to crack down."

 

i've seen them on 41 in brooksville, and i've seen them at about every intersection you could imagine in hernando county. the taxi's in brooksvilles are informants as well, and they are notorious for jotting down tags...
