small block chevy in the cressida.
I think it would be funny as hell. Being at a light and the kid next you with the huge wing in the back starts revving...and all of a sudden the lions roar from the cressida. Post updates

if the cresside is FWD. your best bet for the easiest setup is going to be ART off 110th ave n in clearwater/seminole/pinellas park...whatever the fuck it is right there by QSL. ill put a * next to everything they have prefab kits for
personally, i would carb an LS1. the edelbrock kits are like 600 bucks and people are making much more power from just going carbed from LS6 intakes and efi. like high 400whp/low 500 range with T-rex's
you may or may not need all of this stuff, i dont know the dimensions of the engine bay, and if your curious of engine dimensions Engine Dimensions go there, its paceperformance.com and they give a rundown of what is what.
so worst case scenario...
*push the fire wall back
*driveshaft tunnel
*backhalve the car for rwd (if its a street car, you may be better off with a ladder bar setup over a 4-link) expect to spend ~6500$ for a reputable shop to do this for you.
fab up the crossmember for the SBC mounts (if you go LS1, you can still use SBC mounts as there are numerous companies who sell ls1 adapter mounts for use in a sbc application)
but yea, there is a ton of other shit that your going to need. but its mostly basic stuff, like a sump for the stock tank so you can use your stock fuel sending unit and dash gauge. fuel system can get picked up on summit fairly priced. radiator/cooling system...and like i said, the other basic stuff you will need.
