I didn't wanna be disrespectful or hijack the threads about the biker who died this weekend on the Courtney Cambell Causeway. This thread is about what to do with these DUI assholes that account for 20,000 fatalities every year.

This loser had already been arrested for DUI before, now he is responsible for killing someone. He will probably get work release, or home arrest, or possibly only probation. Meanwhile the family is screwed for the remainder of their lives. Assholes like Quinones should have 50% of their wages garnished for the remainder of his life and the money given to the victim's family. If a little financial restitution makes their lives a bit easier I'm all for it. They do it for victims of other crimes and circumstances, why not do for all victims?

i'd be down for eye for an eye. this shitbag is responsible for 2 innocent's deaths, just kill him off and get it over with. but the wage garnishing is a good idea really.

He was driving drunk on a suspended liscense.

The girl that crashed into me when I had my silver hatch also was drunk on a suspended liscense. Shows that our police and sheriff department are more worried about speeders than drunk drivers or people under the influence of other substances.

And the sad thing is its so easy to get out of a DUI charge if you have a half decent lawyer nowadays, which DUI should be a revoked liscense for a year the first time, heavy fines, and your car should be impounded MANDATORY, not just probation like most people get.

The driver of the car should suffer for the rest of his life for making such actions as to take the life of a best friend that no one will ever replace. He was like a brother to me for 7 1/2 years and I will never forget him. I HATE DRUNK DRIVERS ALWAYS HAVE ALWAYS WILL.
