ceramic coating is only temporary but doesn't conduct heat as much as an uncoated header. also ceramic coating reduces radiant heat, stainless on the other hand lacks these qualities but is essentially unrustable

Duyboy, what's your take on coating stainless steel with JetHot?
-----------------
I read that regular steel, coated with JetHot, is guaranteed
that should they develope a leak, they will be replaced FREE.

Unfortunately, it's my understanding that it will cost the same to JetHot coat them, as it takes to buy another set of headers...............

Heat definitely is the enemy of exhaust pipes, and I have seen stainless steel last FAR longer than regular steel.

Any thoughts on this?-Bob

I can't imagine any noticable HP difference. However there will be a noticable sound difference.

I would NOT buy a ceramic header !! That is one of the few things i regret buying when I owned my Honda, it cracked and it is made of mild steel so if you bottom out on it, it will literally collapse in on itself. trust me, there is a reason why ceramic is cheap, and nobody thats fast uses them. if I was to recommend anything it would be to buy a stainless header then have it ceramic coated by someone like a1 ceramics, this is a true ceramic coating.

This is what quality ceramic coating looks like:

Aluminum and cast iron

Dont know bout that..if they are both measured the same pipes and lengths and everything just the material and finish being different..they would sound the same..
