Any performance difference between stainless and Ceramic Header?
besides the manufacture materials are different..
Ceramic Header is a bit cheaper than stainless ones..
other than that...any difference in performance between
two of them

Unless ur super Dooper Anal about a tiny tiny tiny bit of HP increase... but if thats the case u should just heat wrap them instead..
Have always Used Ceramic Coated.. great results, But thats just me, been lucky enough not to get a weak one that cracks
Ceramic Headers have a reduced amount of heat radiance, but it's more breakable, whereas true Stainless Steel is more durable, but gives off alot more heat.Ceramic coated headers are Usually not stainless steel, Thats why they are usually cheaper.
Have heard of Horror stories of peoples Ceramics Headers Cracking and Breaking because of Engine Flex.. and they werent Offbrands either..they were like DC Sports and such

As long as the internal dimensions and flow characteristics are the same for both the ceramic header and the stainless steel header, you shouldn't see any huge gains between the two. However, ceramic is more frail than steel, so under prolonged exposure to high temperatures and flexing from the engine, they can crack over time. The same is true for steel, but since it is a much stronger material, it should last longer, as long as it was well constructed. Also, like someone previously stated, you can wrap the headers to keep the excess heat out of your engine bay. This also helps to accelerate the gases out of the tubes faster, due to the properties of heat and thermodynamics that I won't bore you with. To sum it up, as long as the header was well constructed, a steel design is going to last longer than a ceramic one.

Heat Burns .... something my friend did with his is he got Grease on his hand..and Touched the header.. and drove it hard after wards .. got really really hot and it burned the hand print on his header
