My soon to be wife (Saturday) is a Insurance Agent for Mercury Insurance. So usually she replies to threads like this one but I got to it first. All the information I know I got from her, she corrects me when I mention something wrong insurance wise.

Right around $600 for 6months for my '95 coupe. Make sure to say you have ABS, dual airbags and an alarm. It'll lower your insurance rate a little bit. I'm 19 and have two tickets. Had my license about a year & 1/2.

Another great way to lower your insurance is to tell them you barely ever drive it.

I switched my insurance from an Isuzu Rodeo to the civic coupe, and my cost only went up 2 dollars. According to my insurance company, It has dual air bags, an alarm, ABS, and I drive it less than 500 miles a year. So Im 18, one ticket, one recorded warning, and an accident, with full coverage, which I prefer to liability cause I want my shit fixed too, for only 1200/6mo. Not too shabby IMO, but I wish I was payin 6!!
