Haha. That is funny how small TR is, but how big TR can be with support and people we know.

the golf cart issue is touchy with us . the one you speak of i have never sen. we have two right now, both inoperative. i totally rebuilt the motor on one with another person on here who i dont want to say their name, but we had all broke ass parts and a cracked timing belt and it doenst run since belt. the other one someone put 7 year old gas in and we have to rebuild the carb which we havent gotten around to yet

Really awesome stuff. I came out to the first meeting this year to check it out and I realized what an investment of time and effort it was to do it right and I knew I couldn't swing it. I don't like doing things by half-measures and your hours pretty much tell the story. What you guys are doing is really cool, though.

There's no requirement, really. It's all about what you want to put into it. I mean, I don't think you'd be much help going in a few hours a week- they get you working on a project, you're not there to finish it, somebody else starts working on it and you get too many chefs in the kitchen and stuff doesn't get done right. Still, to do it right would take at least 10-15 hours a week minimum, probably more if you don't already have useful skills. If you have to learn everything from the ground up (pretty much my situation) you're going to be there a lot.

Just my take on the situation- people actually participating would know better.

i started out about 15 hrs a week. im now putting in well over 40hrs a week

i don't have to, but i want to win and i want to learn. there is no minimum requirement, but if you don't want to come out much, don't ask for a job or accept one that will and not finish it. or else one of us will and don't get pissed if we do. its just the nature of the beast

you get what you put into it, thats all there is to it. this is not for college credit hours, its all extracurricular.

and i remember you jordan, dont you have that laser?

What kind of skills did you not have? What kind of skills do you think you needed to learn?
