The car was already tuned and running well.
that is thrown out of window when car is put on a dyno with load controller. Car spools instantly tune is going to be off there PLUS with the motor heating up from the pull.

Like doing a WOT full-boost pull with a boat and trailer behind you.

I fully agree with the theory that excess load on the dyno could and did blow that engine. Hell, I've experienced detonation in my folks' 96 Pathfinder when it was heavily loaded and going up hills in Georgia. Had to switch to 93 octane to get rid of it. Same principle here.

Excellent question, I would hope everyone trys to resolve the problem before posting on a public forum. From the way he started the thread, it seems that he wanted to clear up a lot of misundertsanding and etc.

From what I read and heard they have had a very successful AWD dyno day with a lot of EVO/Suby owners. Sounds like they are resolving any problems they may have had and are moving on.

From the way it seems, it really sucks to be involved in either parties. I hope all the best for S&R, brand new company with so much potential! AWD Dyno and alignment machine makes me jealous.

Hope everything comes out well Jerry. Have you spoken with them after the incident? I was with the 240 @ the other Dyno earlier that day because when I saw the A/F ratio on the S&R sheet I couldn't see how it was right.
