whats involved in getting a job as a dealer salesman? anything special? im talking about a job at nissan or something, not some used car bullshit.

 

I hope you a have an open calender. You will be working on average 6 days/week and 10 or more hours a day. It is a very stressful business and is something that I would not recommend for the average person. Good luck on your venture.

They would probally ask you for sales experiance.Im sure you mainly work off sales.So when you are there for 50 hrs a week and no sales,well you know the rest.

 

i can sale cars man. pretty damn good at it too. i make money selling other peoples cars for them right now if you can believe that. it pays good as well.

 

Whatever you do try to get a job at a toyota dealer since they move pretty well right now.With used cars theres more profit so more commision but less volume than new cars viceversa.I know people at my job making up to 20k a month from selling cars.Like everyone posted its A TON of hours and if you have no life/kids its good for you.

 

Since you want to be a car salesman I'm assuming you have failed at everything else in life.

 

sounds like you don't know much yet, i'm in sales, all the money is in used.

 

Yeah big ticket sales people are big ass pieces of shit, especially realators.

 

Theres a huge diffrence from selling a 1k beater than selling a 30k car out the door.

I also dont picture yourself as a suit and tie kinda guy.But go at it.
