I think all moving violation tickets should be adjustable for time of day and location

I would agree with that but not until our education system starts putting some effort into driver's education instead of tolerance classes and grief counselors.

It always perplexed me that while leading cause of death amongst teens was traffic fatalities the extent of driver's education is a semester in a classroom with a couple minutes seat time driving around a parking lot. Where is the, "the children they are our future" mantra when it comes to driver's education?

There should be four years of driver's education starting at the freshman level. Of course we will have to cut the "Johnny's Two Mommies" classes to pay for it, but I'm willing because better drivers are more important to me than whatever else they are indoctrinating the children for.

well...4 years seems somewhat excessive, 1-2 would be more feasible IMO because that's around the time after I received my license that I began to feel confident in my abilities as a driver.

the whole waiting 6-12 months after you get your permit to get a license is a joke, it's simply a waiting period not a learning experience.

Big difference between going 25 over on i75, vs 25 over on a crowded street
at 3pm-5pm when most kids and people are walking around getting out of school and/or work

I dont think anything is wrong with street racing(besides the fact thats it is illegal). If the punishment were different and i had a fast car. I would street race as much as i did in the past. I think back road, no spectators in the general path of the cars street racing is about as dangerious as speeding on the highway( in light traffic situations). Now racing on a public road with slight traffic is dangerious in my opinion, but i would say it is equally as dangerious as the folks speeding and weaving in and out of traffic. The only things worse are the people racing in heavy traffic, speeding in residental areas and of course the drunk scumbags.

In the End its all the Same. There are more deaths in rush hour traffic then late night street racing.
