Why the FUCK must VW and other German cars use lug bolts and not lug studs?!

The Cadillac Catera is the same way. its a really bad design, although i have seen less of those get stripped then regular studs and nuts.....

if you own a VW, then you don't ask questions like that. If you did, you would have been smart enough to buy something else

ouch! mine was real cheap!

I swear at my car every time I rotate the tires. I agree it's an ass backwards design, but it must useful in some way.
