last time I checked german cars are full of bizzare assbackwards designs, eletrical problem prone, and expensive as fuck to fix.

I kid you not, every other fucking week the station wagon is at the shop getting SOMETHING ELSE fixed. If it isnt his wife's car, its his car, blown turbo, airbags all fucked up (i think it was the station wagon that time) check engine light comes on for anything... etc.
My old ass fucking 94 altima has 178-179K miles on it, has been in a wreck maybe twice (one by me) has run with 0 oil, extremely bad alternator, bad radiator for a year, no power steering fluid, etc etc. And the bitch still cranks up every day exactly the same as the last, runs till redline, and almost NEVER gives me any sort of problems at all.
Solid as a fuckin rock.
