I never under stand some people with HID's
Because they are 10,000k y0!
Personally I like the way 8000k look and there isn't a problem with them if they have the proper cutoff.

I dont like the yellow ones (3000k?) i think those are just as bad as having standard halogen's.
What i dont get is why those douchebags have to point their fucking HID's into my cabin and blind me.
Thats when i get into another lane, slow down and point 1500 lumens straight into their eyeballs.
bitches.
because ricers dont care.
hid kit usually sucks compared to actual projector retrofit utilizing proper D2S bulbs, but i will admit i have seen a *few* "kits" that don't look horrible. but only works on certain cars.
all factory HID are 4300K which is the whitest light possible in the spectrum. anything between 4000-6000K is optimal, 3000K works well too but its just not good looking on the street.
anything over 6K just gets worse and worse. sadly the majority of HID kits are 8000 - 12000 Kelvin, look like absolute ass, and is equivalent to buying an overpriced APC bulb with a fancy "ballast".

I'll wait till i get the Z32 and then get some sort of projector-type conversion kit in there or something... I love having bright headlights -- NOT to blind people (always spend a lot of time lowering and adjusting my lights so it never gets in people's eyes)
10K is nothing... try 30K HID's.... they are pink

I helped install an ebay 8000k kit on a friend's 02 Altima and it came out really well. Much better lighting than stock. I think it worked out well because the car had HIDs as an OEM option and the headlight housings were designed to work with them. Also, the particular kit he picked was one many people had good experiences with on various forums.
It is a bit too blue for my liking. I think I'd have to go with the 4300's because I'm a perfectionist and if there is some "ideal" to be had I want to have it.
