i had em on the tC... and holy crap driving anything without HIDs i have to keep checking to see if the lights are on... a world of difference... u can see so much better.

ur right though.. they should be aimed properly.. but eiteher way they help out alot....

You know what's retarded is that anyone who is reading this thread and knows a thing or two about automotive lighting is probably laughing their ass off.
To anyone who said "I put ####K bulbs in my car and I can see so much better now", realize that you are just stating the color of the light, which in 90% of cases actually puts out less light than your OEM ones.
Light output is measured in lumens (most OEM lowbeams, with 9006 bulbs, produce 1000 lumens @ 55Watts.)

About the talk about the 30K bulbs, any car with those bulbs would be emitting pure ultraviolet light not even on the visible spectrum, effectively giving all pedestrians massive sunburns lol (ultraviolet light cannot pass through glass, so oncoming traffic would be safe)

If you are reading this and you are interested in a rational option to increasing the light output of your OEM halogen headlights, look into buying HIR (Halogen Infared Reflective) bulbs for your car.
HIR (9012) bulbs put out 870 more lumens than stock bulbs (87% more!) without sacrificing cutoff line, wattage increases, or some other dangerous/unreliable technique.

im just kidding, i DO have 10k's because i got them for a good price, but i also have retrofitted projectors and such to reduce glare.

 

I like the maximas oem hid's. I guess that makes me a gay ricer because I like the stock purple color on their bulbs looks cool. My cousing 05 Maxima SE has pretty bright hid's. People flash their highs alot of the time at him, he just flashes his highs right back lol. I just like the visibility he gets with those lights, thats probably the only reason i would upgrade my piss dim lights to some hid's.

i deliver pizza for like 8 hours to all the rich folk around the eagles/waterchase area, and whenever i'm on racetrack between countryway and linebaugh i can't see for shit because of all the damn cadillac suvs and such with their fucking hids.
