no its the difference between an Inline 6 and a OHC and a OHV type of engine that makes the sound different and its gay because AMD is 99.5% OHV is why it sounds like shit. all american v6's sound like shit

the buick 3.8 was a v6 manufactured by the General Motors Corporation in the 1980's it was offered in 4 vehicles namely, the Buick Grand National, the Buick T-type, the Buick GNX, and the 1989 Trans Am 20th Anniversary Model. the buick v6 was equipped with a garret turbo charged and was grossly underrated from the factory.
this v6 motor developed by a shitty American automotive designer is a very powerful and proven engine.

For those discussing sound.....
Sometime back I made a Corvette-looking side pipe for a
straight six. Put two glass packs inside it. Looked mean, sounded mean.
As you drove over an interstate overpass, it would rattle your
eardrums, (no joke) but after some sound testing, I made a sound
dissipator, and a lightweight aluminum heat shield to get the heat away from the rear tire.............blew a tire on a Georgia interstate followed
by a spin, while learning THAT lesson.
