Default Lighting

I use 4 sylvania silverstars on my car, 2 9003's and 2 H3's for my aux foglights.

I really like the silverstars and are a step up from the hyperblues i had before and a HUGE step up from my stock bulbs. combined with the upgraded silverstar H3 foglights, my lighting system is above decent.

But... i cant help but envy those who have multi-bulb projector lights or even more so the HIDs... mmmmm ...... HID....

Anyways. I was wondering, before I go all out and finally jump at the HID systems, I want to know if you guys might know of any other regular type bulbs that you have found to be extremely bright, possibly brighter than silverstars?

What can i do to increase the overall light output of my current system?

Also, as far as HID's go, does anyone know what brand is really good, reliable, etc?

As a creative solution, have you considered
adding more than one bulb per receptacle?

Have you considered a minor rewire to have high
and low beams come on at the same time when
you hit the high beams?

And BTW, do the silvers put out as much blue light as
your previous hyperblues?....or less?-Bob

Answers/replies in order:

SH: I'd rather not cut a hole or more into my new(er) headlight housings., they look really nice right now, and they werent exactly cheap. I already have them rewired for a nice direct positive and ground connection.
As far as having both the filaments on at the same time -- its a 9003 bulb and its in the same bulb, i think it would burn the lightbulbs out much faster. That and it would blind the crap out of everyone.
The silverstars produce a MUCH brighter and whiter light, (compared to the hyperblues, it makes them look almost pink which is weird) it is probably the best looking easily accessible bulb brand/type to get.

JL: yeh

CTW: Every time i upgrade my lights or make it better somehow, i always see someone else on the road with something better and it makes me want more. its some sort of headlight fetish. I also looked at the site and it makes me think of another site i've been looking at: Helios brand. I heard it was pretty good and i've seen some real pics of the light and i'm really impressed so far.
$360+ for the HID kits, bulbs and ballasts etc.

I'm really thinking about getting HIDs soon, and in the future for every car i get... i think i'll be really happy

Thanks for the replies!
