A question for the import guys.....Is it worth it???

Where did I state that I liked v8's? It was a simple fact. I have a v6 and a 5 banger on boost... I like 4 cylinders, 6 cylinders, 8 cylinders... Whether or not you like something more doesn't mean it's still better...

I have 8k in my car (including price of car), and it makes BIG power...If I put that much into a Honda/Nissan/Hyundai I could not even come close to that power level.

This thread is very intresting. Some of you have pretty good points. Some of you are just asses.
Is it worth it? I say yes.
I know that my Audi isint going to be hanging with any Ls1, V8, or most american muscle cars. But that’s not what its all about. Now I would love a C6 Z06 sitting outside my house. But that isn’t going to happen. Other than that I’m not a huge fan of American cars. They just don’t really call out to me. To me if you get an American car your most likely going to do good in the ¼ but I don’t want to just go in a straight line. Imports may not be as fast but we damn sure can handle better then most American cars. A V8 monster would be nice but I would much rather have an EVO, STI, Or a B5 Audi S4(older TT model). With those cars I can still hang with the “big boys” and if the road has curves in it well I might just win as well.
