you can buy everything from mopar. they have the crate motor and the wiring to mount one in anything. you would have to make the motormounts on your own

an srt8 is a 6.1, not a 5.7, and i messed up and thought she was talking about the srt10.
I would def say an srt8 engine will be alot more than 8500 dollars, cause unless you get it carbed, youre gonna have a shit load of work to do.
Electronic throttle, obds, pcms, the tranny controller, good luck with that...

LS1's are much cheaper and much lighter, but then again, a Mopar motor in a Chevy is kinda different as an idea but would be a pain in the ass to put together, LS1 for a daily driver and carbed small block for recreational/track use IMO...
