those are some pretty horrific stories, but i'm not in the wrong at all here. i have a perfectly good running car. this guy has zero proof that it doesn't run. he's just going off something that someone else said.

Ive dealt with shit like this multiple times, its a shame people waste so much energy on bullshit like this rather than something important.

lol on a serious note that really does suck. you should pop the hood on all of ur cars and leave them sitting in your driveway for a couple days. and get some pink flamingo's and put them all over your yard. that'll teach those fuckers

well i just got back from going to see my girl for lunch and the guy that i thought had made the complaint was coming outside to get in his car. i went over to talk to him, and he genuinely seemed like he didn't make the call. in fact, he offered to help me work on the datsun sometime (which is a completely inoperable car.). he invited amy and i over this weekend for some drinks and whatnot for a little gathering he was having. when he looked at my car, he said "i never noticed that this was a turbocoupe! these are fun cars, i used to have one." so i really don't think it was him. but i've been known to be a bad judge of character in the past

 

well he sounds like a cool guy, but yeah, contest it in court, cars do tend to break down, and need to be fixed

 

but that's my whole point... the car wasn't "broke down", the battery went dead and i didn't have my cables, so i stuck it on the charger for the day.

shit happens, and you can't call it inoperable if it is operable, thats like sayin if you ran out of fuel and coasted in your driveway, you'll refuel it, maybe when you have the time, and not ASAP

i mean, if the keys aren't in the ignition the car is inoperable right?

ive gotten one of those before because it was my project car(but it still ran and was tagged and all, i just never drove it) and i drove down to the city hall and argued with them. they apoligized and all.

then again, this wasnt HOA.

Yeah, the last person that called the city inspector or whatever the fuck on my car ended up having to pick up four new tires and a new top for their busted ass bug that sits behind their house that annoys the piss out of me when they drive it.

Take them to court and drive the inoperable car there.
