It's a truck to a car. You paid 50,000 for an F250? What dealership did you get raped at? Like you said, your Supra was made in '95... your F250, what, 2003/4? Things cost a lot more these days I guess... it just makes no sense comparing a performance car to a heavy duty truck.

I suppose a straight comparison of the two styles arent fair, however, how do they determine a car of the year... i would imagine a lot of cars are good, "for what they are". I am currently looking a god number of cars to replace my truck.. IS350, GS430, LS430, Volvo S60r, STi, Diesel Mega Cab Dodge ram, Any of the SRT-8 Lineup, and i even considered an SRT 10 ram for a few minutes, its just so unreasonable for the gas mileage... How can i NOT compare all these? They range from mid 20's to mid 40's and most can be had for high 20's. If i WERENT to compare them i would be stuck picking based solely on what they can do. I dont give a shit how much a truck can tow, or how safe the volvo may be if they both fall apart at 50k miles.. however, if one is the same price as the other, i better had see SOMETHING that resembles quality. One of the main things that makes me like the new IS and the S60r is the fit, finish, and overall quality of the interior materials... Besides, not to be a dick, but some of the s60's that arent R models are bland and kinda boring

Just kidding, I agree... S60s ARE boring and bland and most pretty ugly that aren't the R's... i.e S60 T5's were nice looking but yeah R ftw

I tottally agree with the evo on boost statement. It takes about 20lbs of boost to reach the hp they make. I would Add the dodge 2.4L Turbo engine to the list. That motor Turbo and n/a has been in the dodge fleet since about 1979 and runs like a champ. The SRT makes about 230hp on 12psi and takes evos from a roll all day.
