You need to check your prices again, a Z06 actually sell for 65-70k, a far cry from the 90k you say. I dont see many ppl buying one. Skylines biggest fanbase is teenagers and young adults, most of them cant afford a 70k car.

And what Z are you comparing to the Vette?

 

he was talking about the introduction of the Z...1st time ever in the states...he wasnt saying "Zs are faster than vettes" but that they sold better and thus he is saying that since this is the first true skyline in america it "should" sell quite well...and as for the fanbase....that doesnt matter to people with money...they want something exclusive...and thus this will be a seller....the smart move for nissan would be to only release this model....and say no further models in america...that will only make it more "exclusive" and sales for the remaining stock will be huge....

i'd take a rine over a vette....although the new vettes look badass its out played....its a small variation on a familiar platform....the r36 looks soooooo different from its predecessors...
