if you look at nissans past success on the 350z/g35 then the chance that this car will fail is very small. people were bitching about the release price of the 350z/g35's (right up there with the c5) and they sold very, very well. im not sure of how the marketing scheme will work on this one, but trust me, with a quick look at nissans recent success in the sports car world you could probably count out the chances that this car boops it. they're not about to toss out a $75,000 car and have it not sell. also, if you have seen the re-design's of the g35/350z for next year you will clearly see that they do not look like each other so much anymore, or the new gtr for that matter. they share a common "nissan like" roof line and thats about it. i think the car will be a success, there are more rich fuckers out there just dying to one-up each other than you think.

also, if any region of auto makers have made flunk ass cars its gonna be (guess who) usdm. you dont exactly see dodge nitros or pontiac G6-gt's flying off the lot do you? do i have to mention the aztec? the last import car i though would bite the dust was the scion xB (toaster) and it sold, and still sells very well. hell, even the ugly ass honda element sells good.
