the hub is the part where the studs are attached to.
the hub is then pressed into the knuckle which is the big piece of metal that the brakes bolt too and that the ball joins and tie rods attach too. You are going to have to rotate it till the broke stud is lined up with the notch on the backing plate. Then you are gonna have to knock it out with a sledge hammer or an air hammer.
if it doesnt come out that way, and by looking at how that one is designed, you are going to have to unbolt the whole spindle from the strut, lower control arm, brakes and tie rod. Yours looks like a press in style, so you are gonna have to get big hammer or air hammer again and knock the hub loose from the bearings in the center. then knock the stud out and install a new stud, then put it all back together.

What mars said^^
you rotate the hub till the broken stud is aligned with that opening in the back then support the hub and knock the stud out through the opening, then do that in reverse to get the new stud in.

HHAH holy crap.. I didn't even notice that hole in the back... Soo I guess just lift the other side of the car and get the tranny in neutral and spin it then knock it out with an air hammer..
I hope that is all I have to do.. That sounds easy enough

YAY I got one out.. It was soo easy.. Luckly I had this air hammer tool when I bought this set of air tools
...
Now the fun on getting it back in... I was thinking that if I just line up the stud and then start the threads on the nut and then drive the nut on that will pull the stud into place... Will this work?
