I would contact Ebay though and let them know what he is trying to imply, and possibly paypal if that is who you used.

"I had the transmission that I purchased form you put in the other day.
After the mechanic was finished he tried to back the car out but the
car
would not move. He then put the car back on the lift and ran through
the
gears to make sure nothing else was messed up and found a nasty grind
in
third. He removed the transmission and saw that it had been opened up
before, and basically he found that third gear was busted and metal
scraps
where everywhere. This just does'nt seem like a "mint" integra
transmission
with 75k miles and no grinds. You also stated that all sensors were
included, but there was no speedometer sensor. A response would be
greatly
appreciated, you can just e-mail me or call me on my cell at any time,
Thank you"

That was his reply to me. I don't know how A Slight grind from what he told me on the phone can turn out to be a Nasty Grind on e-mail. I'm no person to be selling garbage and I deffinetly want to help him out, but for all I know he could of simpily Swapped out the Gears and synchros with his busted transmission and try to scam me. Can you guys vouch for me that I don't sell Busted parts? I can have Silvcivicon17s Vouch that the tranny was mint. I just don't want things to escalade, i'm not the type of person who likes arguments, but much thanks.

"oh well the cutch you sent me got worn out because the ups delivery man is a bad driver."
I think its b.s.
You are obviously doing the right thing, and must be an honest person, so i wouldnt even worry about it.

He waited too long... it's his problem now. The only thing that's gonna affect you is you'll probably never sell anything to him again... oh well, his loss #2

Reply with the date he received it based on your shipping company, tell him that the 30day grace period is over, tell him that the transmission is in the exact same condition as the listing stated and that you cannot help him.

Do not tell him where you got the transmission or say you "think" anything. State factually that the transmission works perfectly and was in mint condition when shipped. Advise him to refer to his mechanic for any issues with the transmission.

BE BRIEF, DO NOT APOLOGIZE OR OFFER ANY SIGNS OF GUILT. I've been an ebay seller for two years, some of that time was at quickdrop and yousell it. If you send the above he will have no legal recourse, or a very weak legal recourse.

Because the Mechanic that installed the Tranny is his Own Father. He owns a shop and Now He wants to contact ebay. I gave Silvcivicon17s a call today he told me the transmission had been flushed before it was sold to me and the Tranny just sat in my garage ever since. It had Plastic Grommets and no way of having junk in the tranny. Now he doesn't want me to pay for the Transmission He wants me to Pay for the Parts he Had ordered.

Bro its too late. He can contact ebay all he wants. The grace period is over. Trust me I know. Don't worry about it and ignore the emails. Who cares if its his dad. Don't worry about it. Ebay has a 30 day grace period for any of their claims. Once the grace period is up its too late to dispute. So again like everyone is telling you forget about it don't even bother replying to them. Your getting played man... do you actually know the mechanic is his dad no you don't. Your going by the kids word and what you see on your screen. Again ignore his ass... too late... times up. If his dad is a mechanic the transmission would of been in a long time ago. He's giving you stories first it was any mechanic now its my dad is a mechanic and he put it in. For all you know it could be his dad which is not a mechanic and try to install it himself. My dad is not a mechanic and rebuilds motors, installs clutches, installs transmissions, etc. My dad was never a certified mechanic either.

You are stressing this too much. Forget about it and don't reply to the emails. If he wants to contact ebay let him. You wouldn't be obligated to pay for the parts either. Thats something they did and its their problem now.

Let them deal with it. Funny how a month later they get the tranny and then install it and come to find out it doesn't work. The transmission is probably working right now in his car and he's trying to get his money back for the old one that was in his car that he fucked up. It's like me buying a motor from ebay... in perfect shape... its runs and everything and its fine. I take my old one that spun a bearing and say hey you sold me an engine with a spun bearing.

Don't fall for it... forget it... stop replying to the emails.
