However, I would like to believe a 7 second dragster that is used for promoting business while increasing company sales, getting company names out there, etc... Happens to be alot more USEFUL then a damn suv with large wheels.
One could be a justified waste of money, the other could not.
Take my 300zx for example... I did need a car, but I was not justified in getting the TT model. I could have gotten a baseline shitbox and done the same things... Albeit a little slower. But don't say a 7 second drag car is a waste of money... If it was, the companies wouldn't spend billions of dollars a year researching, building, maintaining, and running their drag team and cars.
So yes, that drag car is VERY functional. The fuckin SUV is not.

You and I are cool and everything but you have to agree when we say that is DANGEROUS. ITs not about being functional, almost everyone does something to their car that is NOT functional, but paying $25K for something that delays your stopping distance dramatically, steering, etc...... is just plain fockin stupid.

Its matters alot when he is driving behind my SUV that has brake work done and can stop a lot faster than stuck yukon, let alone one with rims that weigh 150lbs a piece

I would like to hear you say that if you were (or are) a parent and your, lets say... 3 yr old daughter suddenly decides to run in the middle of the street because she doesn't know any better and gets run over because he can't stop in time. Im sure that would change your really weird opinion of "cars dont need to stop!".....

I agree with Kirk, the physics of the truck has been compromised by the size change of the wheel. But, like I said before, why are people dogging the Denali/Escalade on 30's when redneck hillbillys have been throwing 30" nobby M/T's......

2nd, I don't care what ANYONE has to say about anything. so NO I am NOT mad because people are hating on someone else's car. I merely posted a picture of what is in style whether you like it or not.
and finally, your whole black statement crap was pointless. You obvisously have little or no street knowledge whatsoever. It is equivalent to a STATUS thing, kinda like rich people and high end cars, they buy them because A. they want it and B. they can afford it. By the way it IS a black thing..... Why the fuck does it matter if it stops fast or stops slow? I doubt hes going 100 mph and needs to stop on a dime. Thats a dumb argument.

Maybe because shit happens on the road everyday and you want to be able to stop at in a decent manner so you dont ram into the person in front of you? These wheels make a huge difference in stopping, if that is too hard for you to understand then I dont know what else to say...... that is just NOT safe for daily driving, PERIOD. You have to be an idiot to argue otherwise.
