Dealership doesnt like deal, takes car back

A similiar thing happened to an ex of mine, she signed all the paperwork and drove home and everything and about 2 weeks later the car was gone and they said that they could not get the deal approved, to make things worse they already sent her trade to the auction, this was at Courtesy Pontiac.
It does, but they still do it all the time. I really don't understand it either, because if anyone has room to store a car for an extra week it's the big dealerships. I can't tell you how many times I've had the auction call and say they need a car back because the deal fell through at the selling dealership. I'd love to here the response if I called the auction and said I needed a car back that I sold because the deal fell through, I'm sure they'd politely tell me to fuck myself. I would lose my license in a heartbeat if I did the blatantly illegal bullshit the big dealerships do every day. There is a very clear double standard, but what can you do? That's being a little fish in a big pond.

Of course you wouldn't just pull out a gun and start shooting, in reality as soon as you pulled it out the salesman would have gotten out of dodge, and if by chance they decide to go mental and make a threatening advance on you, you have good reason to fear for your life should you choose not to defend yourself.

You know why Bill, if the trade in is gone and the deal goes bad, they put them into another car and still get the business.
