def worth a call since everybody would kill for one round here for the price of an srt-4 or civic.BUT whats the deal with being able DRIVE one on the road legally?A lawyer would def come in hand on this one and i wouldnt be surprised to see more companies pop up sooner or later if no legal woes.

First...read this:
https://www.tamparacing.com/forums/t...icerocket.html

the if you still are thinking about doing it...ask this same question here: http://forums2.freshalloy.com/forumdisplay.php?f=12 so that other skyline owners may let you know the deal

and if after that, you still want to do it, be my guest....but at least you will be informed.

I'm not a Skyline hater, in fact, i want a R33 GTR myself...but If i'm going to get one, i'm not going to be worried about driving it, so i'd spend the $$$ on a MX car.

I don't think you are a hater. I think you are one of a few people on this site that actually research things before you spout out information. I like that you supply people with information so they can decide for themselves.

I know you don't think I'm a hater, I just wanted to state my position before somebody (CELM) posts here. See, he works for somebody who imports these cars illegally, so his opinion is biased. He then continues to slam me, stating that all I do is 'quote' laws....well geez...which would you rather me quote? The law or somebody's interpretation?

Like I always say...you can do what ever you want, I just want people to be informed.

w0rd.

Eh, if the car is legal pick it up, looks nice.

There is a daily driven Skyline that goes to MMI.

So basically once I get the car assembled, I need to apply for a new vin. and title so the car can be registered? What happens if your driving it, and a you pass a DOT official?!? If the car is a "kit car" how can they prove that it is skyline when there is no origional VIN?
