Default anyone use header wrap?

How does it work? Clears up about five hp or so right? Looking into getting some possiblly. thanks

I use it, I could not notice a preformance gain from it. Although it did drop my under hood temps by alot.

i know someone that used it they said it did alot and he used it on every swap that he did and u can get the wrap at the local parts store

I use it and man my engine bay is so much cooler.Works out pretty dam good.

ya keeps the engine bay temps down quite a bit, but i dont know about any power gains on an N/A car, maybe a turbo car cause of the temps. but if you use it make sure you wear gloves that shit will fuck you up....fucking fiberglass

Yea noone answered how it works for you, so here ya go. It keeps the heat trapped in the exhaust where it should be.
It keeps engine bay temps down, which in turn keeps motor cooler, radiator cooler, IAT charge a bit cooler.

Also helps in performance just not by seat of the pants though. I'd do it

I use it on my downpipe and dump tube. Like Cold Beer said. It makes you feel all good

I've heard good stuff about it, however the down side is I hear it gets water soaked as well. Guess when it gets heated up it dries again, but that would eventually rot it out and you'd have to replace it again.

Anyone have any idea how much it actually traps ? Can't be THAT much can it ?

yea its like 40-50 at local parts store i saw it before i heard taht it could possibly crack your headers or wateva u are using it for thats wat i heard. i was always iffy bout it but good thread
