Default Looking at getting a Scion XB

I was looking at getting a scion xb as DD. I already have a sports car for preformance but now i need relighablity and good gas milage. I need to be able to sit atleast 4 people comfortably, and a nice stero. My question is this.

These cars are REALLY underpowered with 103HP. And ive hard that they have trouble going up steep hills due to this. Has anyone had a problem where the underpower of this car has caused them issues? Like pulling out in traffic or merging and stuff.

Also how comfortable are these cars to drive in. Is the upgraded stero for them really worth the extra money? Is it a decent system?

Basically what are pros and cons to this car.

As long as you're in FL I dont think you need to worry about hills

Well my old Volvo was 115hp @ 3308lbs. and I DD'd that for a while. You really have no reason to worry those xB's are light

I was suprised by the power the xB actually has. I test drove one with about 700lbs of 6' tall guys. I was actually able to spin the front tires But there is plenty of room in it, my buddy is 6' and was spread out in the back seat. Im thinking of getting one as well

i have a xB (5-speed) and love it!
i dont mind from going to my 400+hp sport cars to my little box at all.
plenty of power to get up to speed, rides awesome, radio is great, and great gas!
fits are cool but ive heard alot of ppl buying them and then selling them right away because they just dont care for them at all.
i can cherp 2nd gear with some sticky Kumho's lol..

go xB!

I've got an xA (basically the same car). I like it a lot. I don't think you can go wrong with the xB. It has everything you're looking for.

The power is not bad at all. Like others said, it's light and geared quite short. Never had a problem with merging or anything like that, as long as you know which gear to be in.
