Ryan, Id prob suggest you get the xb, good room, comfy. The Fits are good but they are hott right now and everyone wants one so its prob going to be a little more costly even though the base might be cheaper than the xb. So with that said, it it was up to me i would prob get the Xb. Much safer than riding a bike in my opinion.

LOL i know the REAL reason your saying that sex, You get tired of the stuffed up back seat. I do lik ehaving a comfy 4 person car. It makes it nice, the 7 has put me in a couple problems with needing to carry more then 1 person.

I enjoy the xB quite a bit. I'm on my 2nd xB and had a Honda Fit for about 7-days before this last one (long story). Overall the xB was a better fit for me than the Fit. I'm 6'4, so it is difficult for me to comfortably drive most of these econoboxes. The xB offers a much more comfortable driving position IMO. Plus with me behind the wheel of the xB, my friends who are over 6-ft tall can comfortably fit in the back seat behind me...the same cannot be said for the Fit.
The Fit does get better gas mileage than the xB, but this is mainly due to the massive difference in how the transmissions are geared. The xB is geared to give it more down low oompf...so it is very easy to get up to speed, maneuver through traffic, pull out into traffic, etc. The Fit feels very lethargic around town and I found myself mashing the gas quite a bit more in the Fit to get it to go anywhere. Because of this gearing difference I find the xB to be much more fun to drive around town when compared to the Fit. Both my xB and the Fit were the 5-speed manual.
My suggestion is get out there and test drive both vehicles to decide for yourself.

No problem with hills or pulling out into traffic. The gearing is perfect for zipping around town and doing burnouts with the cheap-ass tiny Eagle GA tires. Of course this observation is from driving my 5-speed manual. I have no experience driving an autotragic xB.
Very comfortable car to drive in. The interior space is HUGE.
The stock stereo is okay. I had the standard "Pioneer" system in my '04 and it had lots of bass distortion when turned up. I fixed this by adding a small sub and cranking down the bass on the headunit. Sounded pretty good for not re-doing the entire stereo system. If you are a hard-core Audiophile, you'll probably want to rethink the entire stereo system.
